Box Tops - Congratulations to TEAM UNITY for turning in the most Boxtops in the month of August.  They receive the honor of displaying the coveted BoxTop Traveling Trophy.  The Runner Up trophy goes to TEAM QUEST.  Keep up the good work ~ those leftover scraps of packaging have raised over $400 for the Hixson PTO already this year.  To turn in Boxtops, put them in an envelope with your child's name, team and the number of BoxTops that are enclosed and send them both to school.  Questions?  Contact Jodi Richards at the7thjr@gmail.com.

Book Fair - Hixson's Fall Scholastic Book Fair will run Friday, October 3 thru Monday, October 13. We are in great need of workers, so if you are available, please consider picking up a shift or two. Proceeds from the Book Fair benefit the Hixson Library. To volunteer for shifts, please go to https://www.volunteersignup.org/D4W87  (no experience needed!). You will get a confirmation from volunteersignup.org, as well as an e-mail reminder a day or two before your shift.

Career Fair - Hey Parents! We need your help for our HMS Career Fair!
We are still in need of presenters. We are looking for any unique careers the students may want to hear about.

The Fair is October 8 from 8:15-noon. You will receive a complimentary breakfast from our PTO, and creer fair is set up "trade show style" where you would have a table with a new group of students visiting every 20 minutes

Please let our counselors, Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Bodi know if you, or someone you know, would like to help us out at Career Fair!
